School Leadership

My name is Chance Whiteman, the proud principal for the Sunnyslope School Eagles! I am excited to continue our journey of academic, social, and emotional growth and success with the entire Sunnyslope community! 

Sunnyslope School is also a Kids at Hope school that focuses on the whole-child. Simply stated, this means that adults on the Sunnyslope campus believe that all children are capable of success, no exceptions! Sunnyslope School is a National Model for this core belief in success for all kids! In the Kids at Hope ideology, adults are Treasure Hunters, which look for, and find, the hidden treasures that are present in every child on our campus. This school year parents/guardians, families, and our community will continue to be invited to our Four Destination Days (Home/Family, Education/Career, Community/Service, and Hobbies/Recreation). We believe these days will help with the academic, social and emotional growth of all our students. Parents and guardians are also invited to come to campus and be trained in the Kids at Hope philosophy.
